Gough & Davy needed to expand their customer base to sell nationally, competing with industry titans as well as global marketplaces and brands selling directly to consumers.
The plan was to use specificity to our advantage. By fully optimising all 900 unique products, over 100 collections and implementing a new second hand product system, we would be able to compete for low funnel search terms encouraging high and quick conversion rates.
The result was the optimisation of each website as well as the creation of a national website, resulting in an overall increase of sales of over 200% YoY and over 3x the traffic of the previous year.
Through the optimisation of the overall site, the product category pages and the individual product pages themselves, the site has seen traffic increase by over 160% YoY. Using the Shopify CMS and working with the team both locally and to sell nationally, the site has been able to increase revenue and ROI of marketing services in order to thrive even despite the high street seeing a decline.
